Hello! My name is Ryan Desmond. I live, work, and play in Orlando, Florida. I am an information technology professional. My technical experience began with designing Macromedia Flash based web content for CyberTest located in Tampa, Florida 13+ years ago. Since then, I have held many positions with a variety of companies. However, my infatuation with technology has always been a commanding force in my personal life and my career. After moving to Orlando, Florida to pursue my education at the University of Central Florida, I found a niche where I could apply my technical skills in the legal industry.
I am currently the IT Director at Longwell & Gentle, P.A., a well known law firm in Central Florida. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge, the people, and the atmosphere. My years spent working as a information technology professional in the legal industry has proven to be an incredible and worthwhile experience.
I enjoy the IT profession for more reasons than I have fingers. It has many facets, makes allowances to do a great many number of things, and it is always changing. In the world of information technology nothing is ever stagnant. Technology is forever evolving. I strive to remain educated on cutting edge technology, but more importantly, technology that is cost saving, efficient, tested, tried, and true.
